The Germs "GI" album - My honest thoughts

Recently, I've been getting into a lot of bands that I knew exicted but only listened to one of their songs, and the one that I checked out was the Germs, with their only studio album "GI" my favourite songs from them is "The Other Newest One" and "Land Of Treason"

What I want to talk about:

- The Guitar sound is soo good! Pat Smear knew how to really max out the guitar in GI in my opinion. The hooks and how Pat Smear layered guitars (and panned out sometimes!) really shows how good of a guitarist Smear really is.
- Darby Crash's vocal style is more of a snarl than actual singing. The lyrics on some of the tracks are incoherent, but the passion, enegry and anger in his vocals delievering and unignorable. After his death, his lyrics were held up as poetic writing. (He also panned some of his vocal tracks, which I really like! Like on Communist Eyes)
